Untitled 5
An essential aspect of the success of 'tactile imagery' is surely, the need for inter-sensory bias to actively favour tactile perception. This may be achieved if the strengths of tactile perception can be encapsulated, and pieces designed according to these rules. Additionally, it would seem that the other perceptual modes might need to be considered - or even controlled to ensure they work to compliment the tactile input. My research has indicated, visual perception has distinct advantages when exploring form. However, complex exploration of form through touch can be achieved when there is a requirement or a will to do so.
